CIL 310 front sight

Hi all. I bought a CIL 310 in need of love last year. The front sight was bubbad pretty bad. A kind of wrap around the barrel held in place with some kind of soldering. Could not stand it anymore, so I decided to take it off and installe an OEM Anschutz front sight. Ordered a set before I took off the sight only to find out the it's dovetail mount and not held with two screws like Anschutz does. So, anyone has a solution for me? Is there anyway to source a CIL 310 front sight??

Hi,
I'll try to remember to measure one tonight and get back to you. The 1416 is the Anschutz model that became the 310 when branded by CIL. You can find some info on it in the Hunting Rifle forum and then searching for CIL using the title and body option. The parts lists are at: https://www.anschuetz-sport.com/en/downloads/ersatzteillisten/. Some caution has to be used as you'll see 3 or 4 different files listing the 1416. As far as I know at this point they are covered by the 1966 catalogue listing correctly. Any of the suppliers (but certainly Western or Nordic) should be able to order them in if still available. In the states they may be available to fit the "Savage/Anschutz 64" from around the same era. If I have a spare I'll give you a shout.

Thx. Yes I ordered a complete front sight for a 1416 thinking they were the same but they are not... sucksssss. Thx for your time and I'll keep on searching.
 
my 310 dovetail measures 0.29" approx at the bottom of the slot

I went through something similar with my 310 and I found some Anschutz front sights on ebay,
