need help on how to remove forarm on this thing, It's a buddies, that he needs me to clean up. Major water damage from fire. Any help??

It's a model 621 410 vented rib barrel. I can't post picks but, can e-mail them to you

That is supposed to be similar to the Stevens Model 30. It looks like the magazine plug is attached to a lug under the barrel by a screw. I think that if you unscrew the plug - watch out for magazine spring - you should then be able to remove the magazine tube and tilt the forearm down so that it comes free from the bolt. The forearm then unscrews from the action are.

Where doe s the forarm un screw from the top metal ring on the wood with the small indentation to fit the barrel? I can't seem to get the wood off the pump action
