cil 7mm

i have a rifle that i lost the clip for , it is a cil model #972 . 7mm under the wood it says parker hale . need clip or any imformation on where to find one . thanks

Ahhh? I know Savage made a number of rifles for CIL, in particular renumbering the Model 110. The surefire identifier for any Savage bolt action rifle is if the barrel is attached to the receiver with a big knobby external nut. Got one of them?

Have a CIL 972 as well, in .270. I have tried figuring out who made it, and best I could come up with was Savage. Bought it used, and someone told us that it was a Parker Hale, so I am kinda in the same boat you are.

Western gun parts in Edmonton might be able to help. PH mags are $50-60. Check with any local gun shops, soome may have one. Where are you at?
