CIL 950T in 6.5 x 55

I have a 950T (made for CIL by Savage) that I was planning to make in to 6.5 x 55 for Fclass shooting. Is there any thing that I should know before going a head with this?

Piece of junk. I will take it off your hands and save you the hours of grief it will give you :lol:

If planning on changing the triggers, you need to be sure that the unit will fit into this trigger assembly. This is one of the orig, if not the orig trigger assembly and quite a bit different from with is on 110's today.

All stocks that fit the 110 should also fit this action. I passed up one several years back and have kicked myself since.

If you want a one piece canted scope base, just get the one for the flat receiver back. I am sure you already knew that.

A CIL 950T in 6.5 x 55 with a tasco SS scope was shot at Bilsey in 2000 - F Class... rifle did very well despite an indifferent trigger puller. fwiw AP I beleive the barrel was a 30 incher
 
You won't have any problems. I have two single shot Savages, one in the 950T - 308 and another in 112J in 243win.
