does anyone have any info on these rifles.
I recently traded a gopro camera for a
CIL (Canadian Industries Limited) model 950C. in .270.
I know it was a great trade on my part.
a camera I never used for a rifle I will use .
the guy said he got it of his late uncle . used it once to shoot his first and last deer.
that was in 1991.
it has been in storage since then.
I have yet to test it's accuracy or range
- any info would be greatly appreciated . value?
aw and it's in really great shape. the blue is nice and the stock feels great.
feels like a quality firearm.

C.I.L. put their brand on and sold firearms made by various manufacturers, but Savage provided numerous rifles and shotguns to the company.

The whole matter of company brands on "name brand" guns is an interesting one.

I have a "Sears Model 45" rifle (see picture to the left) that is actually a Marlin 336.

Another real good one is the J.C. Higgins Model 50 rifle, which is built on an FN made commercial Mauser 98 action with a High Standard chrome lined barrel.

Heres what i got for a 2 year old camera,, the camera was about $350 NEW, i think its worth maybe $200 now,,,i think this CIL is worth way more, and retains its value aswell...

anyone have an idea of what this maybe worth? im thinking some were between 400-600
or is that far off .
not that i want to sell,
but i just want to further justify the trade on my part.
