CIL Model 402 12 Gauge

Hello,

Sorry, I relize I should have posted this under shotguns.

I have acquired this firearm from my Grandfather and just wonder if anyone knows anything about it and maybe any value towards it. He won it in 1970 and has stored it since and never fired it, you can see its still in the box.

Mainly want to know if its worth keeping it orginal or if I can use it to go shooting. Seems like limited edition Hudson's Bay Company.

Seeing as it's a CIL it's value is relatively low. That being said I don't think I could bring myself to shoot something that nice. I think if I were in your situation I'd spend some money on something cheap to shoot and save such a nice gun as unfired in the box.
