I have an old CIL 621 20g pump action shotgun with a fixed modified choke and 28" barrel. There's engraving on both sides of a flying goose. Some paint chips on the trigger assembly. Some dings on the but stock. Bluing is 90% and the bore is shiny (very good) and the wood is ok but would look amazing if refinished.

Can anyone tell me what the value of this shotgun would be? I'm thinking of maybe trading or selling it to get an 870 with screw in chokes.

Also if you are interested don't be afraid to make an offer. I know what I paid for it and I have a very rough idea of what its worth but I thought I'd put it out there to the more knowledgeable members of the cgn community.

Thanks

CIL did not manufacture firearms. They purchased firearms and had their brand put on them.

I have a cross-reference index from a U.S. parts catalogue.

I cannot offer a value as I don't know anything about the value of that gun.

According to Shotgun World the Savage Model 30 was built between 1958 amd 1978. It was available in 12, 16, 20 and .410 bore. The plain barrel version sold for $157.50 and the vent ribbed version was priced at $179.00.

In the U.S. five years ago values ranged from $75.- to $225.-.
