From Ellwood Epps, 1962/63 catalogue.
No. 1 - For small calibre revolver and pistol.
No. 1½ - Large calibre revolver and pistol.
No. 2½ - For certain old rifle and large calibre revolver cartridges.
No. 8½ - For rifle cartridges.
For shotshells they had #38P and 3-B.
Now, if you have a "Certain old rifle," all you need is some #2½ CIL primers!
