CIL shotgun

does anyone know much about a CIL 20ga pump shotgun? I know someone who purchased one and I can't seem to find out much info on them. Once the gun is fired it doesn't let the pump action cycle, you need to use the release everytime?

Cannot tell you a lot about them.Seems to me CIL had them made back in the 1960's or 1970's.Not sure just who made them but it could have been Savage.

Might have been savage. If it does not release after firing it probably needs cleaning or repair.

If you get the Model number we can probably tell you exactly which model Savage pump gun it is and find the fix if a cleaning isn't enough. Probably a CIL Model 621 aka savage Model 30.
