I have one, but it is one of my "least favourite" single action revolvers. Not because of quality (3 of my other revolvers are Uberti made) but because I shoot "Duelist" in Cowboy Action Shooting - i.e. one-handed hold. The Thunderer gripframe shape prevents the revolver from rolling back in your hand such as happens with the traditional "plowhandle" grip shape. When you must #### with the thumb of the same hand that is holding the revolver, you want that "roll".
A friend who shoots "double-handed", on the other hand, shoots a pair of Thunderers exclusively, and loves them. His, and mine, are all .45 Colt (... as are all of my SA revolvers.)
