Cimmaron Firearms Dealer

I'm interested, too. They make a nice SAA copy...

My understanding of this is that Cimmaron are an importer in the US, they have their own people who "work over", adjust, finish, etc. guns that they import from Italy, makers such as Uberti, Pietta, etc. You should be able to find much of the same from Stoeger(Uberti) or Marstar(Pietta). Taylors is another, though I don't think they rework the guns.

I have a mint Cimarron Artillery model SAA revolver and called their office in the USA to inquire about other available models. The answer was that, like many other US gun companies, they will not export to Canada due to the amount of red tape required. How my revolver got here (I bought it at P&D in Edmonton), I don't know.

I would think that phil had that gun as a trade in??
dack in the bad old days these were imported and they
are a cleaned up ubreti, some where in my files I have the factory
dealers book showing all the models. Have had a few years ago and they
are very nice.

I e-mailed to Cimarron 2 weeks ago & I've been told that they will export to Canada in a few months, when? your guess is worth mine.

Considering that 99.9% of their catalog is the same firearms that any other Uberti importer can get, Cimarron holds little interest for me. However, it's the one or two unique Cimarron "exclusives" that make me grind my teeth in frustration, like the new Richards "transition" model conversion, and the "Man With No Name" 1851 conversion. If somebody is actually going to import them, I'd be all over that in a second.
