I was in a car accident last summer (on the way to the range) and my beloved, less than a year old, Citori 625 Sporting was damaged--the stock was badly cracked at the grip, the forearm has a minor rub mark and one choke tube has a cosmetic ding on it. The receiver and barrels are almost as new with just the usual minor handling marks.

Insurance bought me a new one (yay!) and I would like to sell the old one but I really don't know how to value it. Any suggestions would be welcome!

I would suggest that you give it to me so you can be rid of the bad reminder, that prolly won't happen, lol. But I do live in the Peg if you just need to .......

Stock has to be replaced( prob not cheap and no guarantee to match color / grain) or be fixed.

You say the barrels and receiver look fine but I would try to make sure that the barrels didn't get tweaked and shoot to Point of Aim, though with the stock messed up that may be hard to do.

Sure you don't want to keep it as a second / spare ?

Considerations affecting asking price would have to include that it is
a used gun 30 % off,
Busted stock, lord knows off the bat the cost of a replacement and fitting. % ?
Chance that the poa/ poi has been compromised , % ?

I'd say let the market decide by asking for offers and if one is acceptable, let it go, or PM me what you would be willing to take keeping in mind the damage.

Tim.
