The CX is sold as having a 60/40 POI. Wondering if that is when the rib is flat and the mid bead is covering the front one, or when the two beads form a figure of 8 or snowman. My assumption is that it is 60/40 in the first case and maybe 70/30 (or thereabouts) in the second.

I was impressed enough with CXS that I handled at the SHOT show that I just ordered one in 20 GA. When I get it I'll take it to the pattern board and see how close to advertised it is. I would assume that the 60/40 POI should be achieved with the mid & front beads in the standard figure 8 orientation. But, as Spank pointed out, there's only one way to know for sure. Only downside is the 20 GA CXS isn't available with an adjustable cheek piece, that's a 12 GA only option.

There is much that affects POI which might include loads being used - chokes - stature of the shooter - and your grip/mount for a stationary shot will almost certainly be different from tracking a moving target.
