I am thinking about a new citori xt trap with adjustable comb, my question is can you get interchangable triggers do they come out easily? If not does the gold model have it. Or is there a O/U with it that is in those price ranges with adjustable combs. What is single selective trigger?

Thanks alot,

Crick

i don't know the need for interchangeable triggers on a trap gun, single selective trigger just means that it is a single trigger and you can change(choose) which barrel you want to shoot first. i would rather have the adjust. comb feature than the int. trigger.

Many of the Browning Target guns have interchangeable triggers ...
straight, canted, narrow/ wide, smooth/checkered - whichever
shape/texture the shooter prefers. They change out with a little allen key wrench .... all "external" -take the old one off, put a new one on.
Very easy. Frustration level ... next to "0" ... time required - maybe
20 seconds.

The Citori XT comes with an adjustable comb and three replacement triggers: smooth and wide, smooth and checkered and smooth and narrow. As BB noted it's an easy replacement. Just takes a few minutes. The trigger can also be positioned foward/backward to fit your hand.

The Browning BT100 single shot trap gun is the only one I know of that had the drop out trigger like a perazzi. These are great guns usually with a nice high rib, but they are hard to find as their owners don't want to give them up.

I shoot a Citori XT trap with adj comb as do many fellas at my club and I cannot find one thing negative to say. In fact you will be hard pressed to find a gun of that quality for under 3000. Easy to maintain, built like brick house and made to last. Points well and patterns excellent.

Browning carry so many models of O/U. the XT/XS serious, 325/425/525 serious, Cynergy serious and lighting serious. Really confused.

Maple Sea...very few of the models you mention are trap guns, i know that there is a myriad of models from lots of makers, but if you eliminate the ones that aren't trap guns you're down to a couple.

There are makers other than Perazzi who offer models with drop out triggers. Beretta DT10, the new Zoli o/u, Gamba, Kemen, Krieghoff offered them for a brief period, and if your wallet is unlimited guns made by FAMARS and the Holland and Holland Sporting o/u also have them.
