I have a friend that is pretty heavy into classic English doubles, for collection and hunting. Does anyone know of a site that caters to interests along that line??

While it is a publication rather than a web site, The Double Gun Journal is a really great read for those interested in classic doubles. It has great articles and full color pictures that will make your mouth water.

Last year we spent a month visiting in England, primarily areas south of London. Very basically prices on virtually everything are roughly double what we pay here. What we pay in dollars they pay in pounds. There 'seems' to be one exception, quality english doubles. From what I've seen for prices of english SxS's on southern Vancouver Island, they're going for about the same value in gun shops I visited in England. I have one and for what they are going for, it'll have to do me.

Shotgunworld web site has a a couple of forums devoted to SxS's, and Shooting Sportsman magazine & Upland Journal magazine also features SxS's on a regular basis.
