Having trouble deciding... help me out guys!

Should I sell off 5 or 6 rather nice pieces from my collection to raise the necessary funds for a BD-38 or BD-3008 from Marstar, or should I stop lusting for a $3000 restricted semi sub-gun that only takes 5 rounds and may one day be prohibited?

BD44 = cool, but reloading for an Sturmgewehr will get tedious and expensive FAST. 9mm, on the other hand = cheap and easy reloading.

And when you get the BD3008, be sure to write up a detailed report to help me make the same decision.
At least I won't have to worry about selling off rifles of the quality that you collect.

If you can, you have to! Shooting misurps is all about experiencing some part of history & I can pretty much tell you this is the only way you are going to experience a mp38. Sell off some of your nastier condition misurps & be done with it( A certain beat up M-28 comes to mind). I may be somewhat biased in my opinion however.

Sell 'em.

I like having nice stuff to look at, but guns are for shootin'. :50cal:

I'd rather have a BD-3008 that I shot a lot than a bunch of safe queens. Now if only the RRA 10 round mags would work in the repros...........

I'd certainly like to know what your planning on selling before I make a decision. I know you have lots of good stuff, something maybe even I would want to add into my growing collection. Mind you, mine aren't going to be safe queens in a couple of months. I have to rejoin first, but they all get fired, cleaned, and treated as well as can be.

i've wrestled with this myself, i'd wait for the FG42 as personally, i have little use for a restricted rifle. although the BD38 sure looks nice, but curse the range requirements and 5 round magazine.

MiG25: I had the same arguement in my mind as you, but all that evaporated when I got my MG34. While another non-restricted 8mm ammo burner would be cool, I need a 9mm to keep ammo costs down somewhat - lol.

ok, since htey were first to speak up, desporterizer has first dibs on the M28 and Specfire has first crack at my list (pm'd to him).

After they get first refusal, I'll post stuff in the EE.

Should be interesting to see how long it takes to move some stuff around...?
