Hi guys,
I have a question here about the Claw and V-grip sling type. They seem very comfortable but my question is that I would like to know if they can be use as a pad to put the forend on big rocks or fences when shooting in the field.
Are they sufficiently tick as to not disturb the shot on a hard surface? I know that a coat or backpack are even better but I rarely bring those things in summer woodchuck shoots.
I use a .308 700P.
Thanks
