Hi everyone, ClayshootingUSA a quality print that comes out every two months, has in this issue two shoot reviews by me: Orvis Cup (a must with all the exhibitors!) and The Patrick Londero Classic at La Roue du Roy in Hemmingford, Quebec. The Londero Classic even got 1 1/2 pages. ClayshootingUSA is very interested in having quality Canadian content. They had the World ISSF at Galt in the last issue. BTW, a little birdy told me that Galt sportsman will have a FITASC Grand Prix that counts for the World Cup next year! That will bring a lot of foreign shooters to Canada! We cannot travel across the whole country, so send me some pics and info and I will write a little blurb or a bigger one depending on info.
This issue has several firearm reviews, FITASC rule changes, shoot reviews, ballistic comments, interviews with some top shooters: Anthony Matarese Jr, George Digweed (including some old pics and personal revelations),Zach Kienbaum and Desirae Edwards, Haley Dunn, Bill McGuire, Jeff Vick and "On the road with Wendell Cherry"! The next issue will have my review of the new British Ordnance Company new bespoke 20 gauge and perhaps a review of a bespoke French 28 gauge.
You can see some of the stuff at their website: http://www.clayshootingusa.com/html/home.asp
BTW, the publisher Michael Brunton lets us write the good, the bad and the ugly, in a polite way! So, if there is an issue, you will not find it hidden but it will be politely mentioned somehow! No other publication since The Clay Pigeon, allowed us such freedom!
Have a great day,
Henry
