Yeah - I've got to agree with some of the other guys - they add character + ownership.
And trying to 'fix' marks on a firearm almost ALWAYS ends up looking worse than you started out with ...
I was fortunate with my SANS - whilst researching the rifle before my first Swiss Arms purchase - I discovered the rifle's penchant for chipping / marking the receiver just behind the ejection port. I ended up going to a printing / sign shop with a template of the ejection port and had them cut out a few 'stickers' of clear sticky 3M plastic to mask around the rear of the port.
I ended up with a virtual 'invisable' shield that I can take off if it gets too marked up, and then just replace it with a fresh one!
(edit: 2,000rnds plus and the sticker looks just fine, thank you very much!)
