Was doing some dry fire tonight and snapped on the TLR-1 just to check function, noticed it was very dim, perhaps 40% of what it should be...did another chamber check and found this...

This was after 600 rounds of 124g Sellier and Bellot. I hadn't noticed because I'm not in the habit of muzzling myself even after my dry fire chamber check routine. I usually clean the pistol and light after every range session but I'm putting the pistol through a 2000rnd challenge, so I didn't bother to check it.

1400 rounds to go until I clean and lube the pistol again. :D

See, if you don't shoot the darned things you never have problems like this - guns never breakdown, lights never have dead batteries and nothing gets yucky!

PS - when does the video come out???
