Cleaning A New Princess Aurto Pellet Gun

Hi all. I bought a new pellet gun from Princess Auto while on sale for $29.99 late this fall. Anyways, it came in a plastic bag and covered in a thick oil or grease. Anyways, I gave it a quick wipedown on the outside, but now that it is cooler outside, I would like to give it a good cleaning. I am basically wondering what is safe to use on the gun as to not damage it, and do I need to clean anything on the innards also. I have not been into much pellet gun shooting until this fall, and am enjoying it. Thank you.

Wipe off outside with an oily rag after handling.
A drop of Crossman silicone oil now and than on the seals ( never use any other type of lube on the inside of a Spring Piston or PCP pellet gun! ) Maybe get some felt cleaning pellets to clean the barrel once every 1000 rounds.
