Cleaning Black Rifle after corrosive ammo.

Ok, I know how to disassemble my red rifles and clean after using corrosive 7.62x39 ammo. Now I see more and more black rifle uppers chambered in the same corrosive round. How does one clean out the gas system of a black upper to make sure the corrosive residue is all gone?

Same way as a sks. After shooting rinse the upper in some water. Then when you get home rinse it again and then clean the rifle conventionally. Do the lower too, that salt gets everywhere.

Save the corrosive for the SKS's, and buy a case of NON corrosive for the AR. Its still pretty cheap.

Show it how much you love it and take it in the shower with you.

Warm water or better yet warm soapy water when you get home. Windex will also work.
