Cleaning brass without a tumbler

You can clean cases in bulk quantities using the soap+acid method (I use Birchwood Casey's Brass Cleaning Solution). Just use plastic containers and plastic strainers sized according to the quantities of brass that you want to clean in a batch. Use HOT water in making your cleaning solution, let stand for 20 to 30 minutes, drain through strainer, and rinse with hot water. You can then let air dry (days), blow dry with hair dryer, or oven dry in a cake pan at not over 70 C.
