Cleaning chambers of 'Rings'

No matter where you stand on 'Carbon Ring' here's some info I've found from another forum. It involves Rem40X Polishing compound and it's ingredients and other cleaners' compounds. Good info in any case.

IME, any chemical is capable of cleaning a 22lr barrel down to bare metal, including things like Hoppes #9.

Especially if you never look (with bore scope) to see for yourself what is going on, but just rely on salesman / internet say so ... Like posts that suggest spinning an oversize bore brush into a "tube" - with whatever fluid ... I do not understand how that last version can actually work in a rifled bore - but if you believe that it works, more power to you!!!

It's a good point. I do use a borescope every time I clean to confirm I am down to bare metal.
