Hey guys. Just purchased a French Tickler a month ago. It's been sitting in the box. It's covered in cosmoline. I need some advice on the best way to clean it. I've watched a few videos online but would love some input from people here. I'm in the GTA. New to the community as well!

I have a few of them but they are almost cosmoline free and ready to shot out of the box, just need a complete takedown, clearn off old grease and lube them up with your favorite gun oil and off they go to the range.

Any pictures?

Lucky for you it's already been pre-cleaned so you won't know the joys of removing thick globs of clotted grease that has caked every part of the gun and soaked into the wood.

Strip it. submerge the small parts in a varsol bath. Rags and varsol for the rest.

It's just that easy
