Cleaning Soap for hot bluing???

just wondering where the hot bluers get there cleaning soap?? is there a place in canada i can get it or do i have to get it from brownells or du lite?? thanks in advance!!! or if someone has some they would sell it would be great feel free to pm me!

I still have a fair quantity of "Oakite"... an old favorite... We are just too far apart...

PJ's sells RB17 which is specifically recommended for cleaning/de-greasing prior to bluing. I have used it several times and it is great stuff-- (as is their bluing solution).

I have used TSP. But the last while I just wipe them down good with a clean rag soaked in Varsol while wearing powder free gloves, no problems with spots or anything.

Oakite is considerably cheaper if you can handle the quantity you have to buy...
