Cleaning up the Sticky threads

Maybe it's time to clean up some of the older stickys.
Say if no one has replied for 4 yrs... unstick it ?
That would be fair.

What about putting stickies at the bottom so you dont have to scroll through them to get to the new. Or have a separate tab for stickies.....

How about just leaving them as they are. Valuable reference and if your not interested just scroll past them.

That could work for all stickys in all threads.
Maybe getting rid of them isn't a good idea, I agree they are very useful when needed... but to have to scroll past them every time... well.

I'm not in favor of getting rid of the stickys, if a new person joins CGN and they are looking for info that is in the stickys they will have to search and try to find them amongst all the other stuff.
It doesn't take much to scroll past them to get to the other posts
If there was 2 pages of just stickys them maybe they should put them in a separate tab or something

Links and pictures don't work on alot of sticky threads. That or the powders they are talking about you can't get anymore.

A sub forum for stickies please. I will not be interested in a topic for a while, but then suddenly need that info. Don't delete them.

They basically already are, in each sub forum at the top. Shotgun stickies in the respective shotgun sub forums, people can’t just leave well enough alone I guess.

Seems fine just the way it is to me. I don't have any problem scrolling thru them down to what I want to see. At present, it is a bit of a reminder just exactly what is in the stickies every time I scroll thru them, makes it easier to review them when I want to. Rick
