Cleaning VZ-58

VZ barrel is partially submerged inside the stock - can't reach the bottom of some of it. Shooting corrosive ammo, is it necessary to remove the handgrip and clean under the barrel as well?

you dont really have too I have never done it on my 2nd vz58 but have on my 1st

the lower stock removes but tapping the pin out of the reciever the guard then pivots out

I don't believe the corrosive ammo would affect the outside of the barrel - just the inside and chamber/action area. must have a look
