cleaning your acr question?

When you guys clean your rifle do you remove the barrel every time, if so is it always zeroed in all the time... I shoot once a week but and always clean gun after use period .

I just got an ACR but haven't shot it. I can tell you though, I have no plans to ever remove the barrel unless I 100% have to.
(I'm also very lazy when it comes to cleaning...)

I used to remove my barrel - didn't see much if any shift in zero. I'm sure it moves a LITTLE - but the lockup mechanism is pretty consistent. Mine wasn't a precision rifle, so 1 moa or so change didn't affect me at the ranges/targets I shoot...

How are you guys removing the barrel? Mine is really stuck in there.

Clean? Its a piston rifle...short of a bore snack every once in a while what is there to clean?

I havent cleaned mine yet, I usually wait around the 5000 round mark to clean semis.
