I'm not a good one to ask. I clean my gun after every outing, if hunting and not fired just a quick wipe down if fired even one round stripped down and cleaned.
That is the way I was brought up and showed how to care for guns. I never get jamming and most of my guns look like new even the 40 year old ones.

It depends on what you use for lubricant. Some new synthetic CLPs can handle a LOT of shooting. Older oils get cooked and breakdown fairly quickly. With a good synthetic lube, you should be able to easily shoot 250 rounds before a cleaning.
