Clint Eastwood Using a Ross Rifle

I caught part of the movie Joe Kid last night with Clint Eastwood. He assembles a rifle and shot a guy off a rock at long distance. The gun he put together was a Ross rifle possibly a 1905 because it had a flush mag. I saw the movie before but didn't notice what he was using.
It was a movie, just entertainment. The gun wouldn't be first shot accurate after just being put together, so one has to let that one slide.
 
At the end of that movie, Robert Duvall's character is using a Savage 99 with heavy engraving and........a very modern looking scope.

Actually, now that I think about it... after disassembling my Mosin-Nagant rifles, countless Enfields, Ljungman AG-42b, SKS, etc... they've been accurate on the first shot.
 
Eastwood and a Ross

Not just putting a gun together Fry, putting a scope on the gun and shooting it. Clint puts a scope on a gun and gets a firat shot kill now that is incredible.
