clip for a ruger

Is it a big deal to change the hinge plate to a clip system on a ruger mark 2

I am assuming you mean an M77 MK11, not that I have seen, Rugers have hinged floorplates only, and I have never seen any aftermarket detachable mag conversions for the M77s
