Clips for Coopers

I've just read on Rimfire Central that Savage 35/34 five shot clips from Brownells will fit the Cooper 57m .22 with no mods required !!!! Does anyone else have any knowledge of this and do they work ??? The Brownells part number is 533-400-355.....At a cost of $13.99 usd.as opposed to $75.oo canadian for a proper Cooper clip............thanks:confused: :eek:

He's trying to say that what you are looking for is called a Magazine not a clip.... It really helps answer your original wuestion in no way. Hes just play a semantics game. Even though clip isnt the correct technical term I'm pretty sure everyone knows what you mean.

Cooper Mags

Cooper mags were at one time made by Anschutz and may still very well be, years back Savage was the NA distributor for Anschutz, the rifles were marked Savage/Anschutz. They (Savage) may still be using the same mag pattern, if so, it would be a cheap alternative, although I have noticed that original Anschutz mags are now about half the price they were a few years ago.

I didn't realize that some people could be so anal about the word "CLIP" and yet nobody could be kind enough to answer the question. If Meph put as much effort into the answer as he did to be analy correct I might have gotten somewhere....go figure !!!!!

He's trying to say there's a bunch of grumpy old women on here who have nothing better to do than give you a hard time because you used the word "clip" instead of "magazine". It's very important to them. They don't get out very much. ;)

Don't ask me why they should be concerned about somebody else's speaking habits. :confused: I assume they are closet liberals or something similarly distasteful. :p
