Hey Guys,
Is there anywhere in the GTA that i would be able to shoot without being a member (of course pay some sort of fee). I am allready a memeber at another club but i am going to be moving to toronto for about 4 months for a course. I am a member to another club and therefore have an att. Thank you
 
I'm not sure how comfortable clubs are in letting you shoot regularly at their club without having an ATT for their club, but Silverdale comes to mind, I think the fee is $20 for the day. Of course, its not exactly in Toronto either.
 
no no, its perfectly legal, I just think there is the possibility of having some 'club policies' that don't permit you to shoot at their club without having taken their safety course.

Galt comes to mind, when I was considering joining their club, I asked if I could bring my handgun to try out their range, their answer was no, since I hadn't completed their safety course. (even though I had a valid ATT)
 
A bit far for you but as far as I know Shooters Choice in Waterloo allowed people to just come through.

I think it's sensible for clubs to have a policy where they charge a fee for non members and shooters from other clubs to come in and shoot as long as there is a member on site.

The US is great for that - pay per use.

If you don't have a PAL, you can come and try shooting, all you need is a form of photo ID... A range officer will take you out on the range...

I went there last week and they were very accommodating. Big plus is that they have a pretty varied selection of firearms to shoot with. They answered all my questions and have decent facilities.
 
Target Sports pricing is ludicrous. If you're not gonna shoot too often just take the drive out to Silverdale where the guest passes are $20 and the on-site shop sells everything cheaper than Target Sports, ammo included. Either that or get a friend who has a membership at Burlington to take you a few times.

Too bad guests can only go on Saturday and Sunday.
