Cluncker 1873 value

Hi all. Im trying to get an old beatup 1873 from a buddy but I'm unsure of the value and don't want to pay to much. Its a beater for sure. The mag tube has been shortened I'm thinking it was damaged at some point because thatsvthe only mod done to it. The tube dovetails has been filled with lead. The finish is gone and its all dinged up. Its in 38-40 and also missing the dust cover and firing pin.

Hard to say, probably 50% of "good" condition value, but, you know what they say is worth a thousand words...

Without pics I would guess $500. Worth more than that to part out.
