CMMG .22LR uppers, who has them?

I have a CMMG 22LR upper that I bought from IRG US site. I bought 3 mags with it. They ship to their warehouse in AB and then Canpar it to your door. I have since dressed mine up to match my SR15.

I love mine! Mags are garbage, the one that came with my kit took 2 adults 5 minutes to remove from the magwell after I inserted it. One holding the mag, the other depressing the button and holding on to my Armalite. They work fantastic with Black Dog mags though!

Thanks! This is a full kit, with the BCG and a charging handle? How long did it take from ordering until it got to your door?

Yeah it is complete except for mags and the bolt hold open actuator (if you want it). If you order now you should have it 1st week of January.

I love mine. I bought it from Questar. I had been looking for a good quality, short barrelled, .22 upper for a while, so i jumped at the chance when Questar had one in stock. I agree with the previous post from Garand, the Black Dog mags are the way to go, especially the newer stainless steel lip version. I had an issue with the upper at first, it turned out to be a broken firing pin spring, Questar sent me a replacement and several spares in short order.

Thanks. IRG order placed! Also already ordered my lower from SFRC and as soon as I hear from Wolverine, I'll be ordering the A2 buttstock. The final items on the list will be the trigger/lower parts kit/grip from Tetragon. Does anyone know who carries titanium firing pins for these kits?

Heard from a guy who shoots with this upper a lot that his CMMG pins have been breaking on him until he replaced his with a titanium one. The person in question isn't a casual shooter, but a serious competitor whose advice I don't wanna ignore.

By the way, where do you guys buy the mags and which ones work well with this upper?

I'm glad to report 2k rounds without an issue with this upper. Except a weird jam that messed up my hammer's reset twice.

The three mags I have are the black CMMG ones. They are 100%. YMMV

Plastic. I'm not worried about them. My gun fires everything I throw in it.
