Had my Norc CQA out at the range this morning, to burn through several bags of assorted .22LR I had around, and enjoy the good weather.

Noticed, however, that I would get occasional 'burst fire' - not FA, but it would let go two rounds, every so often. Seemed to do this, though rarely, with several types of ammo

Cause? the conversion bolt carrier was getting pretty grimy by the end, but I didnt have any stoppages aside from an occasional bad round.

It's common. It happend frquently to me when I was using standard velocity ammo instead of the recommended high velocity. Sounds like a keeper to me.

Mine did the same at first, lube the rails of the bolt, the bolt is not going far enough back to engage the hammer onto the sear.

rails bla bla bla. clean you firing pin even thou its spring loaded it tends to stay on striking position when its dirty
