I'm currently looking at getting an AR-15 (most likely STAG from ARMS EAST or a Armalite from WOLVERINE). Any comment on recent buyers of CMMG barrels?

I've done business with Wolverine and they are awesome :dancingbanana: , never did business with Arms East but from the reviews on this site, it seem to be as excellent.

I've seen a tread on them that was king of old, so I'm rising the issue again.
 
CMMG isn't shipping until late March, so best case nothing here before first week of April.

As to CMMG comments, try a search for that term on AR15.com, lot's and lot's of threads/comments. I don't think there are more than a handful in Canada at the moment, so probably not too many first hand accounts here yet.

Thanks for the info Dangertree, this is an exemple of the comments if found on AR15.com:

1-I have a CMMG 14.7 SOCOM barrel w/permanent A2 FH. It is the nicest made barrel I have seen. Very nice machining, excellent finish,parked under the forged sight base. My next barrel will be from CMMG

2-I just got a 14.5" midi from them. I will definitely buy from them again

3- CMMG is a great company, with great people. Their product is one of the best ones out there in my personal opinion.

I am convinced, The delay for the barrels are not an issue for me right now since I'm still in A-Stan until the end of April... :runaway:

I'm not goint to E-mail you again Walt until these arrive!:D Don't want to make too much of a pest of myself! I need that 14.5" for my next M4'gery build!
