Just wondering if anyone brought one into Canada . Can you tell me hows does it fit over the Flash hider ? Also does it still make the barrel more or less wobbly and effect the rearward movement of the barrel on firing ?
I have a PS-90, but short barrel so it wouldn't work on this, so I am just guessing here... My guess as to how it fits on is that you unscrew the flash hider on the end of the PS-90 and the fake "can" is internally threaded to fit over the exposed barrel screws.
Now you should also know that "unscrewing the flash hider" on the PS-90 involves a machine shop...yes, I am not kidding ...http://www.wikihow.com/Remove-the-FN-PS90-Flash-Hider-and-Barrel so hopefully someone found a better way than that. (You will also note that what looks like a barrel on the outside is actually just a barrel shroud. The barrel is a skinny thing inside the shroud)
The collar at the bottom probably locks the thing in place with allen screws impinging on the barrel shroud.
Other than the "look cool factor", the thing ways 2 lbs. The PS-90 is comfortable to shoot right now (once again, short barrel) - not sure how another couple pounds out front would impact the balance.
Anyhow, free advice is "worth every penny", so someone else may have a different "guess" as to how this works.
