Bought one of these from Sean @ Freedom Ventures while he was up here for the nats. Just got a fr. sight for my gas block and went to the range. Sight was easy to sight in and functions well. Works good to about 150 then its on to the battle sight.... Would buy another any time. Real fast close in target acusition, will have to call Sean and get a 2 moa dot bet that will take the effect range out to 300 on a ipsc target.

Cmore

I picked up one from Sean too it is good to go on my stag upper .I am verry happy with it

I was hands on with one, and even with them being just over half the price of an Eotech, I bought the Eotech.

The lack of a hood over top just screamed *NO* to me. I'm not a klutz, but things are supposed to be able to get beaten around and survive. I'm confident I could drop my rifle on it's Eotech and have it survive, and function, and still retain zero. I would not have that same confidence with a C-more.

I have over 400 rnds across mine in less than 2 weeks and the zero has not moved. And newer model offers click adjustments.

If you head over to ar15.com and read the " Q and A" thread with Pat Rogers, he refers to C-mores as C-less as he hasn't seen many if any survive a course. They're plastic, they're fragile and they aren't an EoTech or Aimpoint...

As noted, if on a budget, and not too likely to do combat assaults for real, the C-more isn't a bad choice....
I had one, determined it too fragile for my meathooks, and promptly sold it...
With a series of Aimpoints and Eotechs, I have never looked back...
(Apart from my recent experience....had a 553 break a reticle while being shipped by Canada Post...I guess that's why I will be Aimpoint only from now on!)

C-more

The c-mores were the choice once because Aimpoint and Eotech did not exist. Since they arrived c-mores became obsolete.
No comparison - the new sights are the best - Thats why you dont see any troopies in the middle east with c-mores-

C-more and Aimpoint has been around for a while, At one time Aimpoint was popular for IPSC then C-more took over and still #1 in open division. But i'll never put one on my AR

I have a C-More Scout that I picked up when I was first getting into AR's and didn't know any better. It does the job for a range gun, but I wouldn't want to use it even for something like 3 gun where it'll get bashed around a bit.

Although mine came in a case marked Colt, so maybe I can sell it to the kool aid crowd for a tidy profit?

The first Aimpoints were big and clunky , C-More's were non tube , thats why they ruled in IPSC. They are still o k for pistols . I would never put one on a rifle either --
