Hey Guys;;

My wife & daughter bought me a CMP Expert Grade Springfield M1 Garand in 30-06 for my birthday present. It has a new Criterion barrel & CMP stock set... It's a beauty!

I bought it through OIF Exporting in the USA & they sent it to Prophet River, who sent it to me..

Here is a quick video of me shooting the 7th & 8th shot out of it at my range.


Here is a pic of the second range trip where I printed 5 rounds & then adjusted 2 clicks up & fired 3 more. VERY happy!

Same thing I did. Everyone had a 30-06 and felt it was just so boring, then I found the Garand. Then I had to have a second. They say money can’t buy happiness well they obviously haven’t fired a Garand. Hope you enjoy it as much as I enjoy mine. I have a Danish Springfield and Springfield build. Hope you laid in a supply of powder and bullets.
 
Nothin’ like firing a big ole Garand. You have a masterpiece, Jay. Garlands have a distinct bark. They are a gem of a rifle.

The rifle was $1700 US off gunbroker, OIF Exporting bought it for me. There was a fee, IIRC it was $100. They shipped it to Prophet River & there was an import fee plus the duty & then shipping to me IIRC. OIF and Prophet River were top notch in getting me this rifle by my birthday, tip of the hat to both outfits!

Not sure what the total was, but it was worth every penny to have an arsenal refurbished & gunsmith assembled CMP Expert Garand over one of the beat ones that have been finger f**ked with an unknown round count...
