Evening gang, wondering if there are any coaches in southwestern Ontario that are worth getting connected with. I'm a member at Galt and Twin City here in Kitchener/Cambridge and am looking to get better through some coaching for sporting clays specifically. Also interested in improving at skeet. In sporting I shoot in the 70's on a really good day and lower on days when I don't have it altogether.

I truly enjoy it but am hoping to find someone who can help me see my mistakes and flaws so I can work on them. Welcome any advice folks may have, also always up for connecting with shooters who are looking for another squad member.

Thanks for any info you can provide.

If your looking to try another course to try some other target presentations and don't mind coming down to Hamilton . Niagara Regional club Sunday Sporting clays is open too guests 8:30 am 1st rnd and 10:30 2nd round

Can’t help you with a sporting clays specific coach but I will say this. I took a skeet course from Dean Herzberg and although it was 100% focused on skeet, it has also significantly improved my sporting clays scores.

Next time you are at Galt, check the bulletin board.
There is a NSSA skeet coach advertising there.
Also…. Ask Christine ( the cashier). She can suggest some members who are not adverse to coaching newer shooters.

If you pm me I can give you the contact info of a NSCA certified Level 1 Sporting Clays instructor who is a member at Galt. I have used him and I have also used Pat Lieske, owner of Michigan Shooting Center who is a wonderful instructor, I highly recommend Pat.

If you are up for a drive this winter I am about an hour and 15 from kitchener and we can meet up and shoot some skeet, my club shoots Saturdays after lunch, I find if you shoot with good shooters you get better and pick up tips so I will introduce you to the old boys. it takes thousands of targets but eventually comes. How long have you been shooting skeet or sporting for?
