Hi all.
Just started reloading this year, primarily for IPSC shooting, so bear with me.
I've been loading 9mm 147 gr RN with VV N350 (yeah I know, not the best for 9mm, but it was available), and I am loading them to about 1.115 - 1.120 COAL.
They run great in my X5 Legion and Shadow 2, but I just got a Bul 1911 government and when I did the barrel plunk test with my ammo it was nowhere near sitting flush.
My question is what length would be a good starting point to get these things to fit in my sweet new 1911? I can figure out the powder charge from there.
Thanks
