I'm trying to find some clarity on this.
I have a R700 5R Milspec.
Is there any coating of any kind on these barrels/action? or is it just a straight beadblast?
I will be painting and just want to know if there is a layer of anything that I need to remove in order to get a solid coat on the material.
I don't have access to any sandblasting service so If I have to I will sand it by hand if necessary.
OR am I just fine to clean the surface up and paint away?
