Hey Guys,
Well I might be keeping a Winchester Model 70 Featherweight in 270 and I think it will be the perfect gun for a nice project. I was considering selling it as I already have a .284Win and buying something in a .338 size or something, but in case I dont.....
This gun is blued and I want to build a nice mountain rifle out of it. I was thinking of getting the gun powdercoated and then dropping it in a Bansner Lightweight or something similar. Any suggestions on coatings? I know there are several options....just curious to hear what the 'group' says....
I want a no-nonsense gun that can keep up with my Stainless Model 70 and look nice too. Lets hear the suggestions, as well as where I can get such work done and what it will cost me.....
Or should I just be sellin it and buyin somethin bigger since I now own a .284Win and a 30.06 (already have the bases covered)......
