What would be a fair price for an Avant Tout II? This is a boxlock with side plates, extractors and double triggers, nitro proof. This gun is in the maker's fitted case and is on face. The gun still has muh of the original finish, and does not appear abused. The case however is in rough shape.

In the UK sales at auction are around the 500 BPS mark, and that's about as inexpensive as they come. Condition is everything, but a cased example in good shape could fetch perhaps $2,000 around here. Gauges smaller than 12 will fetch a premium.
