Just looking for some thoughts about cold weather storing of handguns.
I keep mine in a safe in my garage. I expect that is where they will be stored for the foreseeable future. This will be the first winter with the guns.
They will get used from time to time, probably on a weekly basis, but I was wondering if the consistant -10 to -15 c. temperature over the course of 5 months was a big deal, with respect to the workings / rusting / etc. of the firearms.
When I use them weekly, it will be indoors (warmed up), so they will have about 5 months of consistently at least -10c, with weekly exceptions.
Thoughts?
