collectable ammo and boxes

What brands and dates are collection worthy? I've got some old canuck and master craft and imperial shotshells new in boxes. I hear some of these older boxes are sought after

Does it lose it's collectability if it is sent down range.

I keep hearing the boxes are worth more than the ammo
I'll shoot all the old imperial shells. I love the smell of those old paper hulls
