Sorting through some boxes for one of the neighbors. A large assortment of mainly 22. I don't shoot much 22 so any help would be great.

I have shot some 1950's era .22 ammo. The brass was a little (lot) brittle, causing blown out rims on some of them. I had pieces of hot brass from one that blew out the rim, come back through the bolt on my Anshutz match rifle.

I also shot some out of a 10/22 and you can hear the difference when they go off if the rim blew out.

that top one looks like military ammo, so its probably got some collectability too it. Someone who has a .22 training rifle like CNo.7 might like to add that to their collection.

A few of the other packs look like they would be worth more to a collector then as ammo. Old ammo, in my opinion is not really worth shooting, and collectors will usually pay more then a box of new commercial ammo for it.
