I recently found out how much fun shooting AR type rifles is. What is the best way to keep track of your brass for reloading? I've seen some commercial brass collectors (Caldwell comes to mind), and some home made set ups. What do you use? I shoot at a range that is typically very windy, so laying down a tarp or blanket probably isn't going to work the best for me. So far I am only shooting from the bench.

Thanks in advance!

Brownells sells a brass deflector that works great.
Two styles. One for flat top and one for A1’s with the carry handle.
When standing it leaves a nice puddle of brass by your foot.
On a bench, hardly any brass fall to the ground.

I bring a friend who doesn't own any firearms to stay on all fours and pick up all my brass when I shoot, with the promise of letting them shoot one five round magazine at the end.

I use the 3BUCC catcher and it works great. I should have bought more rail mounts when I had the chance and when they were being sold for much cheaper. Now the Canadian reseller wants $32 per mount plus shipping.
